Hawker Audax

The Hawker Audax was an army co-operation development of the Hart biplane, fitted with a message-pick-up hook and other equipment for working with ground forces. It served with RAF and Commonwealth squadrons in the reconnaissance and close-support role through the 1930s and into the early war years overseas.
