Fairey Fulmar

The Fairey Fulmar was a two-seat carrier fighter of the Fleet Air Arm, designed for long range and good endurance at the cost of speed. Despite being slower than land-based fighters, it gave good service in the early war, especially over the Mediterranean and on the Malta convoys.
