About

The Hawker Hind was a two-seat biplane light bomber of the mid-1930s, a cleaned-up development of the Hart powered by the Rolls-Royce Kestrel. It served as an interim type that equipped many RAF bomber squadrons during the expansion years before monoplanes such as the Battle and Blenheim arrived, after which numerous Hinds passed to training and overseas air forces.
