Notes
With 140 sorties to its credit, ED888 flew more operations than any other Lancaster. Built early in 1943, it served with No. 103 Squadron as ‘M-Mother’, transferred as a founding aircraft to the newly formed No. 576 Squadron as ‘Mike Squared’ (the M2 of its code), then returned to 103 for its final raids — all flown from RAF Elsham Wolds in Lincolnshire. Despite its record, it was scrapped soon after the war.
No sorties recorded for this airframe yet.
