Notes
Lockheed Hudson Mk III AE558 of No. 1428 (Hudson) Conversion Flight, based at RAF Oulton, was on a routine training flight on 1 April 1942 when it developed fuel trouble and crashed near Budna, in the parish of Northill, Bedfordshire. All four airmen aboard were killed. A memorial to the crew now stands close to the crash site.
