No. 46 Group
Transport Command
No. 46 Group was a United Kingdom-based transport group of RAF Transport Command. Its Douglas Dakota and other transport squadrons carried airborne troops and supplies on the great operations of 1944–45 — Normandy, Arnhem and the Rhine crossing — and flew freight and casualty-evacuation services across liberated Europe.
