No. 93 Group — Training
Bomber Command
No. 93 Group was a training group of RAF Bomber Command, controlling Operational Training Units and Heavy Conversion Units. Its units prepared crews for the four-engined ‘heavies’, taking them from the twin-engined trainers through conversion onto the Halifax and Lancaster before they joined the front-line squadrons.
