  This officer has participated in a good number of sorties, including many bombing attacks on enemy targets in the Middle East and numerous supply dropping missions to our ground forces. Whilst serving with1 this squadron, Flight Lieutenant Davis has taken part in three large airborne operations during which he displayed the "highest qualities of skill and courage.
