History
No. 320 (Netherlands) Squadron formed at Pembroke Dock in June 1940 around Fokker T.VIIIW seaplanes escaped from the Netherlands and personnel of the Dutch naval air service. It first flew maritime patrols and anti-shipping work with Fokkers, Ansons and Hudsons, and absorbed No. 321 Squadron in early 1941. In 1943 the squadron transferred to No. 2 Group and re-equipped with Mitchells, flying daylight bombing with Second Tactical Air Force through Normandy, Belgium and Germany before passing to Royal Netherlands Navy control in August 1945.
