Notes
A Handley Page Halifax VII of No. 644 Squadron, coded 2P-X, engaged on special-duties work dropping arms to the Norwegian resistance. On the night of 23/24 April 1945, hit by flak near Minnesund, it ditched in Lake Mjøsa and sank. Located by sonar in 1981 and raised in 1995, it was taken to Canada and painstakingly restored — today the only complete, fully restored Handley Page Halifax on public display anywhere, at the National Air Force Museum of Canada at Trenton.
No sorties recorded for this airframe yet.
