Notes
Wellington MF200 of No. 28 Operational Training Unit left Wymeswold for a routine night training flight on 19 April 1944 and crashed about fifteen minutes later at Normanton on Soar, Leicestershire, killing all four crew. A small memorial to the crew stands beside the village hall at Normanton on Soar. (Crew names not yet recorded here — to be added from CWGC / Chorley, Bomber Command Losses Vol. 7.)
