Notes
Wellington Mk X HE531 (HD-) of No. 466 Squadron RAAF took off from Leconfield at 18:20 for the Wilhelmshaven raid of 19/20 February 1943. Badly shot up by a Bf 110 night-fighter, it crash-landed on return at Kirmington. In the confusion the rear gunner, Sgt Crowhurst, baled out and was killed; Sgt Wilcock claimed the Bf 110 destroyed with his return fire. Two of the crew were injured and two unhurt.
