Notes
Halifax Mk II W1012 (NF-Z) of No. 138 (Special Duties) Squadron took off from Tempsford on the night of 19/20 February 1943 on SOE operations Burgundy and Director/Buttercup. Hit by flak, it crash-landed at about 23:45 some 20 km south of Tours. All eight crew survived and were taken prisoner.
