Notes

Caught in American anti-aircraft fire near Namur while homebound from Vohwinkel on 1 January 1945; fell out of control at Emines. The entire crew of eight was killed. P/O Long, the navigator, was 19 — one of the youngest Australian navigators lost on bomber operations.
