Bomber Command
No. 231 Group was the heavy-bomber group for the war against Japan in South-East Asia. Its Consolidated Liberator squadrons, based in India, flew long-range strategic and interdiction raids against Japanese communications, ports and airfields across Burma, Siam and beyond.
