Biography

Flight Lieutenant W E M Dean served as the pilot of Lancaster NF964 with No. 622 Squadron, Royal Air Force. On 3 January 1945 the aircraft was shot down on the raid on Dortmund. He was killed in action. He is buried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Germany.
