Biography
Flying Officer Ladimer Jacob Bernaski of the Canadian air forces served as the navigator of Lancaster ME774 with No. 626 Squadron, Royal Air Force. On 1 July 1944 the aircraft failed to return from the raid on Vierzon. He was killed in action. He is commemorated at Runnymede Memorial, United Kingdom.
