Biography
Pilot Officer John Michael Stecyk of the Canadian air forces served as the mid-upper gunner of Lancaster JB743 with No. 625 Squadron, Royal Air Force. On 1 July 1944 the aircraft did not return from the raid on Vierzon. He was killed in action, aged 21. He is buried at St. Pierre-De-Jards Communal Cemetery, France.
