Notes

Returning from a coking-plant target on 1 January 1945 after a starboard-outer failure forced the crew to jettison their bombs over the North Sea, the Halifax came in too high at Melbourne; while going round again it struck a tree and crashed at Laytham Grange Farm, killing two of the crew.
