Biography
Flying Officer L E Paterson of the Australian air forces served as the bomb aimer of Lancaster PA169 with No. 467 Squadron, Royal Air Force. On 1 January 1945 the aircraft was shot down on the raid on Dortmund–Ems Canal. He survived.
